Public Works Department is responsible for most maintenance
duties within the City. Among the services they perform are
Street Sweeping, Snow Plowing, Maintaining the Parks and
Equipment, Maintaining the Compost Site, Right-of-Way Tree
Trimming, Storm Drain Care, Flushing of our Hydrants,
Maintenance of the City Wells, Holiday & Festivities Signs and
Lighting, Organizing Improvements around Town such as the
Beach Park Pavilion, the Retaining Wall at the Off-Sale Liquor
Store, Maintenance of the City Buildings, Repair of Water
Breaks and Mains, Repair of Pot-Holes on our Streets, Cemetery
Care and Maintenance, Assists neighboring Cities with
Maintenance duties, Assists with the Chisago Lakes Joint Sewer
Treatment Center, Assists with On-Call and Emergency Duties,
Supervises Community Service Assignments, and many other Misc.
duties as needed.
WORKS MAINTENANCE WORKER POSITION:
Lindstrom is accepting applications for a Full-Time
position of Public Works Maintenance Worker.
Under the supervision of the Public Works Director,
is responsible for
helping to maintain the city's infrastructure and
public works activities including city streets,
parks, public lands, cemetery, buildings, vehicles,
and other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High
School Diploma, valid Class B Minnesota Driver's
License with Air Brake Endorsement, mechanical
skills, ability to read sewer, water, utility, and
street maps, knowledge of street maintenance,
wastewater collection and water distribution
Response/Driving distance is required. Desired:
Minnesota Class D Water Operator’s Certificate,
Minnesota Class D Wastewater Operator’s
Certificate. Salary Range: ($45,841-$53,931
Annually) with full benefits package.
